About
This transformative training invites clinical supervisors to critically examine the role of power, privilege, and implicit bias within supervisory relationships. Drawing on culturally responsive frameworks and current supervision literature, participants will explore how social identities, systemic inequities, and interpersonal dynamics shape the supervisory experience—for both supervisors and supervisees. Through interactive activities, reflective discussions, and applied case vignettes, supervisors will learn how to recognize and address bias, navigate power responsibly, and cultivate inclusive supervision practices that empower diverse supervisees. This course fosters the self-awareness and humility needed to mitigate harm, promote growth, and ensure equitable client care across cultural differences. Whether new to the concepts or seeking to sharpen an equity lens, participants will walk away with actionable strategies to lead with cultural responsiveness and foster psychologically safe, growth-centered supervision. (2.0 hours CEU for Texas LPCs, LCSWs, LMFTs, and Psychologists)
