Culturally Responsive Supervision Training 4-part Series

This four-part training series offers clinical supervisors a deep dive into the principles and practices of culturally responsive supervision through an intentional arc of self-awareness, critical reflection, and actionable skill-building. Designed for counseling and mental health supervisors committed to equity and inclusion, this series moves beyond cultural competence to cultivate supervision that is attuned to power dynamics, responsive to identity, and rooted in relational accountability. Participants will explore the impact of cultural identity, privilege, bias, and power in supervisory relationships, while gaining tools to repair ruptures, foster trust, and promote growth—especially when working across cultural differences. Through interactive activities, case examples, and reflective prompts, supervisors will strengthen their ability to create psychologically safe, inclusive, and developmentally attuned supervision spaces.
